    14. There was a court held in the courthouse, and the blacksmiths got “a week in jail for every nail”.
    15. They refused to take her money, for her threats they did not care and they would rather go to jail then, than shame the County Clare.
    16. While they were in jail their families were well kept by the people of the parish.
    17. After the blacksmiths came out of jail there was a great welcome for them in Milltown.
