    The Show-Grounds Fort.
    In the Show Grounds there is a fort.One ash tree grew in the fort.Thirty-two years ago,a boy from the town of Ennis climbed thet tree to cut the makings of a hurley.The hollow of the tree closed in on him He was held from seven o'clock that evening until five in the morning.Men hunting found him.The priest came and anointed him on the tree.
    Carpenters cut the tree.They had ropes and ladders trying to release him from the tree and they succeeded .he lost hi walk for two years afterwards.
