    2. The ruins of an old church are in Ballygriffen. Three walls of the church are standing yet. The most of the gaves are inside in the church.

    Emblems and Objects of Value:- St Bridgid's cross was an object of value. The people used to make the crosses themselves and hang them up in the thatch. They were made of twisted straws.
    2. The people hand a piece of clothing on a bush on Saint Brigids night long ago. To wear this clothing afterwards is said to cure any sickness.
    3. On Palm Sunday the people bring home branches of palm
