  1. Long ago people sought remedies for their ailments from herbs and certain roots.
    Certain people have charms to cure pains to stop people from bleeding but people should believe in them. A man named Henry Brien who live in Marlow has a charm to cure pains. He cured my father R.I.P of pains and he stoped a man named Con Ryan (Joe) from bleeding.
    Poultices are applied to cuts or sores where blood-poison or badness is. A poultice for a boil is to get sugar and soap and grind them, and heat them to the fire and put them on the boil. Loaf
