  1. One day a man went into a fort to cut sticks. He got a thorn in his finger. When he went home he told his wife he had a thorn in his finger. She said to him to try and take it out. The morning after a woman came in and she was dressed in white. She told him to leave the thorn on the dresser. The next day when the man got up the thorn was gone off the dresser. Then he said we would never move again go in to the fort to sticks if he had to do with out a fire for ever. He got a terrible fright.
