- There is an old house in Ballyvaughan and it is supposed to be haunted. It was last occupied by Mr. Bushel. Every night at midnight a woman is seen there. She walks from the yard into the hall. She stands there and she combs her hair by the light of candle. She walks from the hall into the parlour and then she disappears. My father saw her once.
