There was once a man named Walsh who came to live at Glenbower. The glen was silent except for its waterfall and the inhabitans heard nothing else. Because of that Walsh called it the "deaf glen or Glenbower" which it still bears.How "Culnamuc" got its name.
There are two stories told of how "Culnamuc" got its name.
