    About one hundred years ago, there lived in this town a very strong man named Addis. He was working for a gentleman in Fethard who owned a large farm.
    Every year a Captain in the British army used to visit this gentleman. This Captain possessed great strength and almost every day he could be heard boasting to the gentleman about what he could do. One day as the Captain
