One night as a man was coming from Cappawhite he saw in Phelan's fort a man.

Collection by W. Maher, Glassdrum, Cappowhite.
Told by W. Maher, Glassdrum, Cappowhite.
One night as a man was coming from Cappowhite he saw in Phelan's fort a man. He stood to wait for him. When the man was not coming out he went in for him and when he did he knew the man was dead. He said what is bringing around the place. The dead man screamed for a long time then he said yourself wont be long in this world. When he went home he told what had happened and they sent for the priest but the man died soon after.
