  1. In 1903 there was a great storm all over Ireland. It took place on the night of the 26th of February. It started in the middle of the night and was over before morning.Slates were knocked off every house, and roofs were blown off some houses. A hay shed belonging to McCutcheons of Latteragh was blown down. Some people had to get up out of bed because mortar and slates were falling into rooms.Walls of houses were shaken from side to side.
