    There is a forge at Derrybawn, Nenagh owned by John Boland.

    and is about 3 cwt in weight. his smith shoes all the horses in the parish of Toomevara and does a lot of work for the county council as he is one of the best smiths in the County to dress steels for drilling quarries.
