    In my native district Nenagh there is a population of about four thousand five hundred.

    The name Nenagh is derived from two Irish words, "An Aonach" which means "The Fair." Long ago this fair was held every three years in the town.
    Long ago the houses were very numerous in my district.
    About three years ago all the old houses were destroyed, a hundred and eleven new ones were built instead and it is called St. Joseph's Park.
    The fine public buildings in my native district are much admired by strangers and the high graceful spire of the Catholic Church can be seen far away in all directions.
