    There are many old beliefs about the days of the week in my native district.

    There are many old beliefs about the days of the week in my native district, such as are lucky or unlucky days for changing from one house to another, giving out money and getting married.
    The first Monday after New Year's Day is called handsel Monday and people like receiving money on that day as it is said that one would be lucky for the year.
