    There were many hold wells which the old peoply had faith in when they wanted to be cured of their ailment. St. Conlon's well was visited by people suffering from sore feet. St. Patrick.s in Terryglass cured the eye sight. It was said if people sae golden fish in St. Finians well near Mountrath they were cured.
