    this well and the water in this well is used as an eye cure ever since.Another time a man named Fegal Egan owned the land in which the well was situated. He tried to prevent people going to get cured by the water which is in the well. In trying to stop someone on one particular day he himself was struck blind. Someone led him to the well, where he was cured. He never stopped anyone ever after or never tried to.
    An eye appears in the well when any cure is effected.
