  1. The townland of Dooradoyle is situated in the parish of Mungret Co. Limerick.
Since I have come to live in Dooradoyle I have been told a story about an old woman name Dora Doyle. She was in the habit of making a short-cut from Rosbrien to Dooradoyle and one night she was murdered and robbed.
And from that day to this several people say they see her ghost by night This happened about a hundred years ago so thats how the townland of Dooradoyle has got its name.
