About 100 years ago, a man named Sheehy was one day working on his farm in Cooga (near Doon). When going home to his dinner he saw a Leprauchan, and, all at once grabbed him. He would not let him go until he would tell him where the treasure which he was minding was. Atlong last the Leprauchan pointed to a spot not far from a pond whihc is still to be sen in the field. He let the Leprauchan go and went home and brought his brother back with him with weapons. They dug and dug until they came to a very large flag. It was not in their power to raise the flag. They were tugging at it for a long time and when they had it almost they saw a pot of gold, just then their attention was drawn to a funeral which was passing by.
