  1. There is a well near the Mooreabbey. It is called St. Francis' Well. It is situated in Mr. Mullaney's field. It is not known when the well was first visited for the purpose of paying rounds. It is said that a woman washed clothes in the well and that it removed over to the other side of the road. The water of the well is a cure for sore eyes.There are a lot of bushes near the well.
