    long time ago when these sun worshippers took the fariest maiden in the place, and stuck a knife in her neck and burned her up on their alter to the Sun if he was not shining kindly on them.
    Also on a hill at the mouth of the River Deel are five Druidical stones suerly also belonging to the sun-worshippers.
    At the edge of the largest stone is turned to where the Sun rises on the 21st day of June, the longest day of the year.
    It was often visited by the Antiquarians but they could find no cup markings or other signs on
