    The birds are our feather friends.
    A robin comes to our door every morning
    and I give him a few crumbs of bread.

  2. Long ago hurling and football matches were played quite different from what they are now.
    One parish would challenge another parish for a football match. Each team would have fifteen men on both sides.
    The two teams would meet half ways between the two parishes. The rule was the team who would carry the football to their own village would be the victors.
