  1. There are many signs of the weather and some of them are observed in the sun, sky, moon, stars, and the clouds.
    Such as when there is a bright ring around the moon and the stars, rain is expected to come.
    Old people are great to foretell the coming weather just because they study it carefully. You would be amazed and astonished at the immense amount of knowledge the farm animals know in regard to the weather.
    The sea, lakes, and the insects are also great weather prophets. I will now give you a short account of some of them. When the seagulls fly inland and stay in the land for a couple of days rain is at hand, and also when the swallows fly low.
