  1. The weather can be judged by the behaviour of certain birds.
    If migratory birds appear early in the year, it is a sign of fine weather, but if they are late, it is an indication of rain. If birds fly low, or inland it's a sign of rain. If crows gather together it's a sign of rain. If the robin frequents farmers' houses it's an indication of bad weather. If birds fly high and towards the sea, its a sign of good weather. The robin is a very remarkable bird because it is said that it touched the blood of Our Lord, when He was dying on the cross and that is why its breast is always red.
