  1. It is said that when the cat faces the fire it is a sign of bad weather. If the cat turns his back to the fire it is a sign of fine weather. When the wind is beating from South it is a sign of rain. North wind brings the snow. The east wind is very cold. Seagulls coming on land are an indication of rain.
