- Tom Healy, Garryowen, was a white-smith. He lived where a black-smith's forge stands now. He made locks and keys and all sorts of hammers and sledges. He had a small house. The iron was heated and shaped with a hammer. When it was made square or oblong, a key was made, then the key was put in it. A piece of board was put on the back of the lock to nail it on.
