  1. There is another story, that the headless-coach was also seen in the streets of Passage. This was proved to be false. A man lived on the Church Hill, who had a great dog. Every night, at a late hour, the man used to let his dog loose for a run. The dog had a long chain tied to him, and when he used to move the chains used to rattle. When the people heard the rattling at so late an hour, they said that the headless-coach was around.
