light shone while the music lasted and then vanished.
Some years ago there was a family of three or four young children. One of them found a purse with a few pence in it in the fort. She went to town and spent it. When she came home there was a hen on the hobb that could not be removed. The mother came for the priest-Father Rea- who said prayers and the hen vanished.

Time nor tide waits for no man.

Time nor tide waits for no man.
    Look before you leap.
All is not gold that glitters.
A rolling stone gathers no moss.
    Silence is golden.
    Many hands make light work.
What ever is worth doing at all is worth doing well.
There is no place like home.
Where there is a will there is a way.
