At the conquering match between Cork and Tipperary
'Twas played in the park by the banks of the Lee
Our southern boys were afraid of being beaten
They sent for bold Tady to Ballinagree
He hurled the ball left and right in their faces
Showing the Tipperary boys training and skill
If they bounched in his lines he was sure for to brain them

At the Cork Exhibition there was a young lady
Her fortune exceeded a million and more
A weak constitution had ruined her completely
