    Boys go out on St Stephen's day gathering money "to bury the wren" as they say. They sing the following song:-
    "The Wren, the Wren, the king of all birds.,
    St. Stephen's day was caught in the furze,
    Altho' he being little, his family was great,
    So, cheer up ye laddies and fill us a treat."
    The money is divided equally among the number who go together.
    Branches are hung up in the outhouses on May Day. Pishogues are worked on May
