    about a Leipreachán. "Long ago there was a man who was mowing hay, and he used to get up very early every morning. One morning he got up to go mowing, and he had to cross two fields before reaching the meadow. As he was going along he saw a Leipreachán sitting on a mushroom. He ran over and caught the Leipreachan and the man said, "Give me your purse of gold."
    The Leipreachán replied, "That little boy near you, has the purse of gold."
    The man turned to ask the little boy for the gold; but he saw none. When he turned to look the Leipreachán was gone. And the man went
