- The animals which we usually find on the farmyard are the cow, the horse, the donkey, the hen, the duck, the turkey, the goose, and the sheep. The peculiar noises that these animals make are, the cow bellows, the horse neighs, the donkey brays, the hen clucks, the duck does a Quack - Quack, the turkey gurgles, the goose screeches, and the sheep does a baa - baa - baa. The peculiar noises we make in calling these animals are, tuc - tuc for the hen, feen - feen - feen we say for the duck and the goose, suc - suc - suc -suc we say for the cow and calf, "come on" we say for the horse, Tees - tees - tees we say for the turkey, and to the sheep we say holla - holla.
The cow gives us milk twice a day and is in a long low shed called a stall and is given meal, cabbage, bran, and turnips to eat, and is given water to drink. The horse as we all know does half(continues on next page)- Informant
