    "My watch and my money are buried in a straight line between the little wood and the Yew Tree hill and the old mill at Clais-na-Geallinn."
    This mill was situated long ago along the banks of the little river that flows through Young's wood, Ardcahan. Some of the ruins may be seen to this day, but in a very delapidated condition, as some of the stones have been drawn away for various purposes. I saw the old ruin, myself several times.
    Well, after saying this he was hanged and then the search began for the gold. Every flag and stone were lifted and my grandfather, himself, searched for this gold without success. Brakes of furze, caves and all places were torn up, but no gold was found.
