  1. A boat was wrecked in the rocks near the Reen which is in Skehanor. The boat was going to Ballydehob. with clothes. A gale blew and they were blown up on the rocks. The boats name was called the Alma. It got wrecked in the year 1922. No one got drowned.
    A boat named the Inis Arcain got burned when she was going to Cork. A ship stopped and took the men in. One man was burned very badly. The man's name was Timmy Mac Carthey.
