    11. Much notice is not now taken of the chimney smoke but older people tell us that the line of smoke is over the chimney-level fine weather is to come. Should any blue flame appear in the fire a storm is brewing.
    12. The Fastnet Light is watched by all. If it throws a broad bright flare bad weather is sure at hand.
