  1. A few years ago a man from this village Cloonadra Lanesboro Roscommon by the name of James Tiernan a brother of mine saw a black dog down at Tallaugh well. He was going to a fair with another man.
    The dog would not let him pass. He picked some stones and threw them at the dog, but this dog would not go away.
