    One night as St Joseph slept he heard a voice. When he opened his eyes he saw an angel standing in a bright light. The angel told him to take Jesus and Mary to Egypt as Herod would kill the Child. He seated the Blessed Virgin on the back of a donkey with a child in her arms. They traveled that night all the next day through the desert. Towards night they came to a house. The woman of the house
