    One dark November night as Paddy "the tinker" was coming home from a dance he saw three men playing cards in the middle of a fairy fort. Pat went over to them and commenced to play with them.
    After awhile Pat accused them of cheating and they got vexed. They then told him they were three men who died of starvation because Pat would not give them food one night and that they had come back for their revenge. They began to best Pat
