- A long strong rope is got and tied out of a large branch of a tree. Each end of the rope is tied to the branch. The rope is then hanging down from the tree. A small sack is then filled with hay and is put lying across the rope. A person sits on the sack and holds the rope on each side. Another person catches the rope and swings backwards and forwards saying
"One for sorrow
Two for joy
Three for a wedding
And four to die
Five for silver
