  1. St Fintan is the patron saint of Raheen parish. His feast day is on the 17th February. There is a well called after him in Cromogue and there is another one in Clonenagh and there are many stories told about himself and also his wells.
    Some people say that he lived in Clonenagh. The ruins of the old churches and monasteries are there still. He also lived part of his life in Cromogue where he built churches and monasteries. There is a beautiful well in Cromogue called
