  1. The Stanleys came from Shin-rone a hundred years ago to Castlefleming to weave wool. They are now living in Monarnonra, Garrison and Castlefleming.
    Mrs Fitzpatrick, Hollymount was a good spinner. Mr Robert Roe, Hollymount, used to give her a fleece of wool to make socks for him.
    An old spinning wheel is to be seen at Mrs S. Mitchell, Brooklawn.
    Mrs Procters of Castlefleming, used to spin wool. She was the grandmother of Elizabeth Marks c/o Mr Mitchell, Castlefleming.
    Mr Thomas McClean, Errill, is a basket-maker, ladder-maker, and a thatcher.
    Mr Philip Gleeson, Errill, is a crane-maker. He makes iron cranes for hanging pots
