  2. In the year 1933 in the month of February, there was a big snow fall. A wind accompanied the snow and it drifted. Sheep + cattle were lost in dozens and all traffic was suspended for a week or more. The people had to melt the snow to cook. Children could not attend school and not their teacher Mrs. Leydon, who was imprisoned in the little school room
