    There was a man lived in Doohat, called James Sheridan. He bought a place from a man named Stewart, and while settling about the land Stewart said he wronged him ten-pounds, and dead or alive he would have revenge of him. In a short time after Stewart set sail for America and when the ship had three days sailed, she sunk and all the people in her were lost, and that evening James Sheridan was cutting corn in his own field, when Stewart appeared to him on the plot, and from that day for nine months, Stewart never left
