  2. There is the ruins of an ancient church in Kilpatrick founded it is said by St. Patrick who loved it very much. It was destroyed in the time of Cromwell.
    In space of time a well sprang up where the church once stood and was known as the "Church Well". Some time ago skulls and bones were found by men who were building ditches thus giving proof of a grave-yard.
    In Summer many people visit the well which is believed to cure diseases.
