    told him that a chip struck it. Then the man said:-

    "A mill-shaft under thine eye,
    A holly branch under thine eye,
    Every trouble in thy cheek,
    A griffin under thine eye."

    After this his eye became worse. It was the devil who came to him.

    As he was on his way he met another man who asked him what happened his eye. Moling told him that he said something. After this Saint Moling had better sight in his eye than ever.
