  1. There is a Fairy rath in Scart. Mr Forristal is the owner of the Rath and it is situated near his house. Under the field there is a fairy passage and it ends in Rahard. At the entrance of this fairy passage there is a big flat stone. There is a story told about a woman who went down the passage. Her name was Mrs. Daly. She got a ball of yarn and tied it to a bush at the entrance. Then she went down the passage as far as the ball of yarn would stretch.
