  2. Long ago the people used wear clogs and up to the present day they are worn. They are much warmer than boots. There was a man named "John Waldron" in Kiltobar that used to make clog soles but he is dead now. "Tom Brennan" is able to attach the uppers to the clog soles but he buys the soles.
    The people used not wear any shoes long ago except when getting married or going to England. In Summer the children now go barefooted.
