    two horses and killed Little Claws horse.
    Little Claws skinned the dead horse and brought off the hide to sell it. He came to a gentleman's house and he peeped through the window before he knocked at the door and he saw the cook putting sweet cake and nice things into the over. Then he knocked at the door and he asked for the gentleman of the house. The cook told him he was out but that he would soon be in and asked the stranger to come in and sit down. He came in and sat down in a chair and put the hide under his feet. Soon the gentlemen came in. Little Claws put his foot on the hide and made it squeak.
    "What have you got there?" says the gentleman. "A magic skin said Little Claws. "What did it say that time?" says the gentleman. "It said there are a lot of nice things in the oven for me"
    Then the gentleman told the cook to take out some of the things and give them to the stranger
