In a few days after the old men made "concannon" and while they were eating it one of the old men said that there were bits of the cats tail in the butter that they were eating with the "concannon". The other old man said that they were carrots he had put in the "concannon."

  2. On St Stephen's day the boys and men sometimes go around carrying the wren from house to house singing and getting money. There are many stories which are sung on that day. One of them is
