There is a ruin the centre of the old graveyard called the Abbey. It was once a church and since it came into a ruin there are a few people buried in it. One of which the oldest in the ruin is that of a minister, my mother told me. On the tomb stone is written
"This stone was erected by Mick Gerrard who departed this life 5th May 1773 aged 75 years"
    Veronica Eiffe
    11th January 1939.
