  1. Pishogues
Tis not right to go a nearway(?) with a funeral. People say it is not right to burn hair off a cows udder without a blessed candle. It is said that a cake of bread should be put on the door step on New Year's night to keep away hunger for the new year and that the table should be laid on November Night for the dead and it is said that all the food would be gone in the morning. It is said that if a person went to a well on Small Christmas Night at twelve o'clock that he would never return again.
