- Once there lived in Castleisland a man by the name of John Barry. He sold news papers. He was very poor and he badly wanted a suit of clothes. He thought of a plan. A neighbour of his was just after dying. He went to the window of the house where the man lived and said "Mary give my clothes to Jack Barry the man that sells the news papers." Mary thought it was her dead husband that was speaking and she gave the clothes to Jack.
